Do you feel you have what it takes to be a college athlete? Do you dream of playing in NCAA Division I or Division II athletics?

You will need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. You can do this the beginning of your sophomore year at the following link:

Here you will learn about what "Core Courses" you will need. "Grade Point Average" as well as "Test Score" requirements. It is your resposibility to register with the NCAA, take the SAT or ACT, and meet with your school counselor.

Physical Day
Saturday May 14th
8:00am - 11:00am

All students are required to have a NEW physical exam before they can participate in sports or co-curricular activities during the
2016-17 school year.

A NEW EXAM IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY NEW SCHOOL YEAR (must be dated AFTER 5/1/16You MUST turn in a completed 2016-17 Physical Packet before participation in any tryout, team practice, or summer camp
Download the 2016-17 Physical Packet (available May 1stBring the completed signed packet with you on May 14th Physical Day,
along with your $40.00  cash or check
(payable to CHS) to receive your clearance to participate in all 2016-17 sports/activities.
**100% of all proceeds will be donated to the CHS Athletic Training Programs

David Reisinger - Assistant Principal for Athletics
 
Mr. Reisinger joined the Chaparral staff in February, 2015. Mr. Reisinger comes to Chaparral from Valley View High School in Moreno Valley. His teaching and administrative experience is extensive. He has taught primarily in the fields of Math and Science. Mr. Reisinger's administrative experience includes Principal of Alternative Education, Summer School Principal, Athletic Director, and Assistant Principal supervising Special Education, Guidance, Math, Social Science, and Physical Education. Mr. Reisinger holds teaching credentials for NCLB Authorizations in Mathematics and Life Science and a Professional Clear Single Subject - Physical Education.  His coaching experience includes Varsity Football Head Coach and Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach.
