Gil Compton

Mr. Gil Compton joined the Chaparral staff in June 2009 after serving in the Menifee Union School District as the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, and Principal of Menifee Valley Middle School. Mr. Compton began his educational career teaching at Murrieta Valley High School then served as Assistant Principal at Shivela Middle and Murrieta Valley High Schools. Mr. Compton received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University and his Masters in Education Administration and Administrative Services Credential from the University of California, Riverside. Prior to entering education, Mr. Compton served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Compton can be reached at [email protected].

Dianne Vaez

Dianne Vaez has been an educator for 20 years.  Her most recent experience was eight years as director of secondary education for Temecula Valley USD.  She is a returning Puma and taught English at Chaparral from 1998-2002.  She also served as an assistant principal for a brief period of time in 2003.  Ms. Vaez's areas of expertise are curriculum, instruction, and assessment.  She may be reached at 695-4200 Ext. 105 or via email at:
