From EBSCO databases (EBSCO, Literary Reference, and History Reference):

Link to full-text article (not abstract), hit PRINT.

Choose "Citation Format", then use drop down menu and select MLA

Hit PRINT again -- but don't actually print

The MLA formatted citation will be near the top of the page under Works Cited; cut and paste

From SIRS: from full-text article, click on Citation link in "Go To" box (right side of page)

From World Book: From full-text article, click on Citation Information link on left side

From Bloom's: cut and paste Citation Information and re-format (see article above)

PICK UP THE PASSWORDS BOOKMARK IN THE CHS LIBRARY.

BLOOM'S LITERARY REFERENCE is an extensive virtual library of great writer's lives and works, with author biographies, literary criticism, overviews and synopses, topics and themes, timelines, characters, and an image and video library, plus commentary by Harold Bloom on the western literature "canon."

EBSCO is a periodical aggregator. It has scholarly journals, reference, biography, primary sources, and government documents. Create a folder to collect your resources as your research. History Reference Center and Science Reference Center use the same user name and password.

Literary Reference Center is an EBSCO resource (same user name and password); browse by author or works for best results.

History Reference Center is an EBSCO resource (same user name and password); organized chronologically by eras.

SALEM History gives access to some of our decades reference works, fully searchable.

SALEM Literature has the full content of Magill's Literary reference base, fully searchable.

SIRS has editorially selected resources for student research. Over 100 web pages on controversial topics, linking to pro and con articles.

World Book Online Encyclopedias : Advanced (high school, College), Student (easier reading), Spanish language (Hallazagos).

Classroom Streaming Video is a resource for CHS teachers.
